Small legislatures across the globe face numerous challenges that sometimes threaten the existence of small states, parliaments and legislatures. These challenges force the small branches to multi-task resulting in inadequate attention where it is desperately needed. Addressing the Separation of Powers and Good Governance in Small States, delegates from Australia, St Kitts and Nevis and Africa made recommendations to the 33rd Small Branches Conference.
In his opening address the Chairperson of the CPA Executive, Sir Alan Haselhurst, noted that small branches are the core element of the CPA.
