POPULAR young artist in the country Elizabeth Michael aka Lulu has asked her fans, especially young ladies, to concentrate on messages from her new movie.
Lulu launched the movie known as 'Foolish Age' in Dar es Salaam last Friday. It is produced and distributed by a company known as Proin Promotion Limited.
Lulu said in an exclusive interview with the 'Daily News' that in the movie she has tried to deliver messages on how young people can endanger their lives in different ways.
"In my 120-minute movie, I have delivered many messages that aim at changing lives of people and I have shown the bad side of unsafe sex, behaviours and other things that young men and ladies do," she said. She added that boys and girls aged between 16 and 18 years do many things without knowing their long-term outcomes.
"As an artist I have a crucial role of bringing positive things to my community and this is just the beginning as I will be acting in many educative movies," said Lulu.
Meanwhile, one of Proin Promotion Limited directors Johasen Lukaza said the intention of his company is to bring changes to the Tanzania film industry.
He said the company will continue working with famous and upand- coming artists as long as they are willing to make better and quality films.
"This is the company that is aimed at bringing changes to the Tanzania film industry and we are ready to work with many artists as well as supporting them but what we need is quality and commitment," said Lukaza.
Several celebrities like Wema Sepetu and others turned up for the launch that took place at the VIP Hall at Mlimani City and was coloured by Machozi Band as well as famous Bongo Flava artists Barnaba Elias and Amini.
