Liberia: Fire Victims Appeal for Help

Victims of recent fire disaster in Lapkpazee community, Sinkor have called on humanitarian groups and well meaning Liberians to come to their aid. The victims however called on their Representative Munah Pelham Youngblood and Montserrado County Senator Joyce Musu Freeman Sumo to continue advocating on their (victims) behalf for their houses to be reconstructed.

They spoke over the weekend when both lawmakers of Montserrado County visited the fire scene to identify with victims of the disaster that left over ten family heads homeless. The two lawmakers gave each family heads US$100, and LD$20, 000 to the entire group as their (lawmakers') way of identifying with them.
