Ghana: Kufuor Pounces On Tsatsu

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has described as "unacceptable" Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata's recent attack impugning the integrity of Justice Anim Yeboah, one of the nine-member panel of Supreme Court judges on the recent election petition case.

Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata, lead counsel for the third respondent in the just-ended election petition at the Supreme Court, speaking on TV3's Hot Issues programme on Saturday, August 31, 2013, suggested that Anim Yeboah's judgement of the case was clouded by his political affiliation, and had in it a sense of loyalty to the New Patriotic Party for his appointment as a Supreme Court by the then president John Agyekum Kufuor.
