3.7 million households will be living below the poverty line in the next two years. A report by parliamentary budget committee says the cost of living has risen drastically in the last 10 years and the situation will get worse in the next two years. It says funds for projects meant to boost economic growth like the Kazi kwa Vijana initiative ended up in the pockets of just a few people.
