The number of Somalis who are food insecure is at its lowest level since the 2011 famine, a report from the Food Security and Nutrition Analysis Unit for Somalia (FSNAU) said Tuesday (September 3rd).
The report said the number of Somalis in food security crisis would drop to about 870,000 from August to December 2013, a significant improvement since 2011 when an estimated 4 million Somalis were in that category.
