Maputo — The CTA, with the support of USAID / SPEED project is organizing a seminar on the preliminary results of the study entitled "Payment of tax in Mozambique."

It also highlights issues such as the fact that Mozambican companies pay about 42 kind of taxes per year, a number which is higher than the regional average. It also proposes a tax reform to simplify and increase the efficiency of the tax system.
The seminar will take place on 12th of September 2013, from 8:00 to 11:00, at Indy Village Hotel in Maputo.
In the framework of the dialogue between the CTA and the Tax authority of Mozambique, this event will gather contributions, comments and recommendations that could enrich the content of the draft report of the study, available now at: www.speedprogram.com.
