Tunisia: Anti-Terrorist Squad Dismantles Network Sending Tunisians to Libya to Join Training Camps

Tunis — Units of the anti-terrorist squad has dismantled in the recent days a network sending young Tunisians to Libya to join training camps, the Ministry of the Interior said on Saturday.

These training camps are supervised by "religious extremist groups," the Ministry of the Interior said in a statement, specifying that 21 people were arrested in connection with this case including a foreigner.

On another hand, the ministry announced that national security units seized 3 hunting guns, 43 9mm cartridges, a pistol and ammunition as well as a large quantity of 12mm cartridges at a raid in a house in El Ghazala district.

The owner of the house was placed in custody, the same source added.
