The Republic of India intends to strengthen the level of cooperation in the domains of agriculture, cattle breeding and food processing, besides the current participation in the oil exploration and in industry.
This was said to Angop on Tuesday by the India ambassador to Angola, Debraj Pradhan, who is paying working visit to the central Kwanza Sul province, aimed to indentify new investments opportunities.
The diplomat said that Kwanza Sul province takes a privileged position in the relations between Angola India, through opportunities in several areas such as the areas of agriculture, cattle breeding, taking into account the fertile soils, good weather for several kinds of cattle.
Debraj Pradham said that Angola is the second trade partner for India and has highlighted that the bilateral trade volume reached one billion dollars.
He says, the cement plant installation in Kwanza Sul province represent one of the biggest investment in the industry sector to Angola.
"We are visiting Kwanza Sul because India makes the greatest investment in this region of Angola. We feel proud of the province as it offers many investment opportunities in different areas.
On the other hand, the provincial governor of Kwanza Sul, Eugenio de Brito Teixeira, who granted audience to the diplomat, considered to be a good moment to identify investment opportunities in the region such as in the sectors of agriculture, cattle breeding and processing industry, among others, because it will serve to meet the needs of Kwanza sul people.
According to his agenda, the diplomat is going to meet on Wednesday with distinguished members of the government of Kwanza Sul province in Sumbe city, as well as a visit to cement plant located at 20 kilometers.
