Angola: Official Defends Continuous Training and Expansion of Handball in Angola

The chairperson of the Provincial Handball Association of Huíla, Zeca Fumbelo, defended on Wednesday in Lubango city for the associations to invest more in training of players, through the expansion of handball so that the country may continue to win international trophies.

The official said so to Angop, when speaking about the eighth African title won by the Angolan junior team Sunday in Oyo (Republic of Congo).

Zeca Fumbelo said that this deed results from a hard work carried out by the provincial associations and clubs.

In Huíla province, seven clubs play handball, namely Ferroviário, Benfica, Desportivo da Huíla, Desportivo da Chibia, Kilambas, Escolinha da Agricultura and Sporting do Lubango.
