Asus, the world's top three Notebook vendor is set to run an intensive marketing campaign as its seeks to deepen its penetration in the Kenyan market- with its differentiated products.
The one month roadshow which will run from 14th September to 13th October 2013, in Nairobi, aims to raise awareness on Asus innovative products.
"We at Asus believe that every idea starts with people and we turn our imagination into myriad revolutionary innovations. Through the roadshow, we hope to showcase among other products, the W8 touch notebook and the Intel powered Fonepad-which offer differentiated solutions." said Asus product manager, Mr Chris Wen.
During the roadshow, consumers will have a firsthand experience to interact with Asus products. They will also get a chance to receive exciting Asus brand items on selective models sold.
The activation will be made possible through the close collaboration between Asus and its channel partners. Orange which is one of the main partners has a wide network across the country. It's with this wide network that Asus hopes to reach its customers in other parts of the country like Mombasa and Kisumu. Other channel partners include; textbooks centre, technology house, BJ's electronics and Bright technologies.
"Asus understands the channel's role in business and it is for this reason that we have invested heavily through our channel partners. Through this event and our partners, we hope to showcase Asus as a world 1st tier IT vendor determined to penetrate the market." Said Mr. Wen.
According to Mr Wen, the roadshow will mainly focus in Nairobi but a national roll out will be considered depending on the result of the campaign.
He added that the campaign promises to be a holistic experience that will demonstrate technology, precision, style and entertainment. A surprise brand ambassador with special branded Asus outfit will be at hand to promote the campaign.
The roadshow starts on the weekend of 14th - 15 September at Village market, Nairobi.
