Nigeria: Poor Information Flow Affecting Our Job, Says JTF Commander

Port Harcourt — Commander of Sector 3, Sub-sector 2 Operation Pulo Shield of the Joint Military Task Lt. Col. Olusegun Oladuntoye said at the weekend that poor information flow is hampering the fight against oil theft in the Niger Delta.

Oladuntoye, who spoke to Daily Trust in Port Harcourt lamented that people residing in areas hosting oil and pipeline installations are unwilling to volunteer information on the activities of vandals because of fear of harassment and intimidation from those involved in the act.
