GREEK investors plan to use Kenya as the gateway for their foray into East Africa, a visiting trade delegation said yesterday. To start off, they are holding a trade exhibition at the KICC which ends on Thursday.
It has attracted more than 60 Greek entrepreneurs. The delegation met the Cabinet Secretary of East African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism who urged them to take advantage of Kenya's strategic position in the EAC and the Comesa regions which have a combined market of more than 400 million people.
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Cabinet Secretary Amina Abdalla said Kenya's growth makes it a regional economic, trading and investment frontier.
