Nigeria: CBN Resolves ETI Chair, Lawson's Indebtedness

Kunle Aderinokun Indications emerged Tuesday that sequel to the clean bill of health given by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on the indebtedness of the Chairman of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), Mr. Kolapo Lawson, to Ecobank Nigeria Limited, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has pointed out that the issue had been resolved.

In a letter addressed to the Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria, Mr. Jibril Aku, which was obtained by THISDAY, the CBN expressed gratitude to the chief executive for concluding the matter, which had generated controversy recently.
