Nigeria: Youths, Community Leaders Clash Over Company Gift in Edo

Benin — More than five houses were set ablaze and many people injured in Okomu community of Ovia South West Local government area of Edo state yesterday when some youths suspected to be ex-militants attacked community leaders over gift donated to the community by the Okomu Oil Palm company operating in the area.

Residents fled their homes to neighboring communities following sporadic gun shots from the armed militants.
