Liberia: EPA Wants More Awareness On Biosafety

The Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency Madam Anyaa Vohri has stressed the need to create awareness on biosafety in Liberia. Executive Director Anyaa called on international and local stakeholders doing business here to create biosafety awareness for the betterment of the country.

"I believe that environmental issue concern everyone that lives in the country; we need to take this seriously to avoid lots of sicknesses from coming into the country", the EPA boss lady cautioned recently during celebration of the 10th Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety held in the Auditorium of the University of Liberia on Capitol Hill.
