Sierra Leone: Syria War - 1 Sierra Leonean Murdered, 30 Trapped

Amidst reports of the use of chemical weapons and atrocities being committed by various factions in the Syrian conflict, a Sierra Leonean, Sheikh Mohamed Canan Bah has been reportedly captured and tortured to death by the Free Syria Army that is fighting to oust the regime of President Bassad Assad.

Even though no reason has been given by the rebel faction for the capture and execution of the Sierra Leonean, reports indicate that such dispositions are not unusual foreigners trapped in the conflict.
