Sierra Leone: Ongoing NRA/Ecobank Fraud Case - Judge Adjourns As Second Accused Is Reported Ill

Justice M.A. Paul of High Court No.2 yesterday adjourned the National Revenue Authority (NRA) and Ecobank fraud case involving Ibrahim B. Lavaley and nine others to September 25, 26 and 27 2013, as a result of the absence of the second accused, Innah James.

According to Counsel for the accused person, C.F Edwards, the accused was absent in court because he had been taken ill. He tendered a medical report to substantiate his claim, which the trial judge accepted as reasonably justification.
