Namibia: Scorpions Aim for Guinness World Record

OTJIWARONGO'S Scorpions Inline Hockey Club will attempt to set a new Guinness World Records mark for the 'longest marathon playing inline hockey (roller hockey)' match next week.

The historic attempt, confirmed by Guinness World Records, is part of the Scorpions' promotional campaign for roller hockey in the country. The current record stands at 25 hours and 20 minutes set on 3-4 December 2010 by the Roller Hockey Guernerin club from France. During that game, the 'white' team defeated the 'yellow' team 220-122.
