Kenya: Sh100 Million for Slum Schools

THE German government will collaborate with the Kisumu county government to build five modern schools at a cost Sh100 million. Governor Jacktone Ranguma said the schools will be spread across the city's slums. He said four secondary and one primary. will be built at a cost of Sh20 million each.

Ranguma was speaking at Senior Chief Onunga School for the Deaf, Nyalenda A ward. He said he signed the agreement while on an official trip of Germany last week.
