Djibouti: Jailed Djiboutian Journalist Denied Medical Care, Opposition Says

Djiboutian journalist Maydaneh Abdallah Okieh continues to be denied necessary medical care at the Gabode prison, the Union for National Salvation (USN) opposition party said via Twitter Wednesday (September 18th).

Okieh, former technician for the La Voix de Djibouti opposition news site, has been in Gabode prison since May 19th, four days after he was arrested for posting pictures on his Facebook profile that showed police breaking up an opposition protest.
