Nigeria: Confusion in Kogi Assembly, As "New PDP" Attempts to Impeach Speaker

Kogi State House Assembly, was thrown into confusion, as the speaker, Alhaji Momoh Jimoh Lawal, abruptly adjourned the house to avert being impeached.

The House , which had convened and was debating a motion on the state of the education in Kogi state, was brought to a sudden closure, when information reached the Speaker that 14 out the 25 members were meeting in a Committee room in the complex with plans to move a motion for his impeachment.
