Khartoum — Employees at Sudan official News Agency (SUNA) reported that they felt a mild tremor at noon on Wednesday in two of the eight floors of the building on the east side.
Sudan's General Authority for Geological Research (SGAGR) confirmed that its seismic stations recorded an earthquake with a 5.9 magnitude at 12:04 pm. The epicenter was in the Red Sea outside the territorial boundaries of Sudan, SGAGR said adding that this was corroborated by data from global monitoring sites.
