Nigeria: Pick Neutral Candidate for PDP - Group

A group, the PDP Forward Forum, has asked the national leadership of the party to pick a neutral person from those that participated in the party's primaries as the candidate of the party for the November 16 if PDP hopes to take part in the election.

In a statement in Awka yesterday, the group's chairman, Mr. Bertram Okonkwo described as unfortunate a situation whereby members of the party in Anambra State have not known their governorship candidate two months to the election.
