Kenya: Gondaria in Kenya Team to Tackle Afghanistan

Kanbis youngster Dhiren Gondaria is the only newcomer in the national cricket team for the upcoming International Cricket Council Intercontinental and World Cricket League Championships.

Dominic Wessonga is making a comeback to the squad to face Afghanistan. Gondaria has been impressive with the bat lately for his club and the U19s side and his inclusion comes as no surprise.

Even though he didn't do well in the just concluded East Africa Cricket Competition where he turned up for Sameer Simbas, the batting all rounder had already impressed the selectors.

Players retained from the squad that lost all their matches in Scotland are, Maurice Ouma, Alex Obanda, Shem Obado, Hiren Varaiya, Nelson Odhiambo, Rakep Patel, Elijah Otieno, Tanmay Mishra and Irfan Karim.
