Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou welcomed Thursday 19/09/2013 a decision by the international tourist company Thomas Cook to resume its flights to Egypt.
Zazou praised the move, saying it is a step for the return of international tourism to Egypt.
The minister told MENA that several major tourism and airlines companies, which suspended their flights, decided to resume the business to Egypt, especially to Red Sea after security situation in the country improved.
Minister Zazou added that other international companies, such as DER and TUI, are also planning to resume travel to Egypt. He said that he held meetings with the German ambassador in Cairo on lifting a travel ban to Egypt.
Zazou noted that a Russian delegation arrived in Egypt to visit Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh to review lifting a ban on traveling.
