Nigeria: "We Are in Danger," Bayelsa Community Cries Out Over Oil Spill

The people of Ikeinghenbiri community in Southern Ijaw Council area of Bayelsa, weekend cried out over the rising danger they are exposed to by last week's massive oil spill from the oil field of the Nigerian Agip Oil Company,asking that the company shut down the leakage or they will all die.

The deputy paramount ruler of the community, Chief Collins Adikoko, said yesterday at the riverside, Ikeinghenbiri that though they had reported the spill to the oil firm, it was yet to be fixed.
