Africa: Forum Discusses Strengthening Marginalised Voices for Devvelopment

A forum meant to celebrate African Union (AU) Democracy Day has been held in Accra, with panelists discussing ways the media could help strengthen marginalised voices for democratic development.

The platform sought, among other things, to go beyond signatories to implementing the various Protocols and African Charters that border on democracy, elections and governance, human and peoples' rights, rights and welfare of the child, disability rights, and women participation among many others.
