Three Scotland yard detectives are expected to testify in a case where British terror suspect Jermaine Grant is accused of plotting terror attack in Mombasa 2012.
The three top metropolitan police drawn from anti terrorism unit are expected to give evidence of exhibits including laptop ,chemicals for manufacturing explosives recovered from Grant's house.
The team is also expected to establish his connection with White Widow' Samantha Lewthwaite accused of being behind Saturday blast at Westgate where more than 60 people were killed. Jermaine was arrested alongside his wife Warder Breikh in 2011 in Mombasa. Earlier in the month, a Nairobi court acquitted Grant of terror charges after the prosecution failed to provide evidence of his alleged terrorist activities. Grant however was facing other charges in Mombasa for which he has been presented in court today.
