Kenya: Mombasa Swoop On 'Terrorists'

POLICE in Mombasa have said they have arrested a number of suspects previously linked to terrorism activities. Mombasa police chief Henry Ondiek yesterday said police are on high alert and keenly following activities of a number of people.

Speaking to the Star on phone, Ondiek said police have received intelligence reports from members of the public on suspicious characters. He declined to issue details of the people under watch.
