GeoPoll is a global surveying platform that is revolutionizing the way data is collected, offering global access to near real time information.
Through GeoPoll, international organizations have the ability to better understand the developing world by conducting targeted surveys of millions of people via SMS, voice, or data. GeoPoll surveys provide real time information from direct beneficiaries and key stakeholders on a range of issues to influence the decision-making process. GeoPoll was instrumental in contributing to reach the 1 million voices goal set by the United Nations MyWorld global citizen survey. GeoPoll conducted surveys on citizens existing mobile device in 13 countries, and collected over 130,000 completed surveys in just over one month, accounting for 11% of the total number of the MyWorld votes.

Through mobile phone technology, GeoPoll is able to get accurate, up to the minute results, and with broader and deeper reach than ever before. Using SMS, voice, and data, GeoPoll can reach mobile phone users nearly anywhere in the world, particularly in the developing world where information has historically been most difficult to obtain. GeoPoll offers an opportunity to understand the world, faster and more accurately than ever before.
GeoPoll asks people questions via their mobile phones and make it clear that if they decide to participate in our survey, their responses will be free of charge.
A GeoPoll survey can be multiple choice, rating scale, open ended, or a combination of these, and can be conducted in any local language. Surveys begin with an opt-in, are usually 10 questions long, and can be sent out via SMS, voice (IVR) or data. Surveys are always free for the recipient and clients can choose to add incentives of phone credits, mobile money, or entrance in prize drawings.
GeoPoll's parent company is Mobile Accord, a leader in mobile technology with a mission to power social good and the creator of M-give, the first tech-donation tool that enables people everywhere to donate via their mobile phones.
