AHADI Kenya Trust CEO Stanley Kamau has urged leaders to ensure that poor families have toilets. Kamau said t30 per cent of 10 million Kenyans are infested with jiggers and do not have pit latrines in their homes.
He said since most of those infested with jiggers are from poor families they cannot afford to dig a pit latrine. Kamau said the lack of latrines leads to poor hygiene.
