Tunisia: NCA Adopts Credit Convention to Fund Social Housing Project

Tunis — The National Constituent Assembly (NCA) adopted during a plenary session on Thursday, a draft law on the credit convention concluded between Tunisia and the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) to fund a social housing project.

The 245-million-dinar credit will be devoted to the achievement of a first part of the project; 4,000 housing units including 20,000 houses shared out between seven governorates in addition to the relevant basic infrastructure (roads, electricity networks, water and sewage).

The credit is repayable over ten years with a five-year grace period.
