Somalia: Foreign Commandos Attack On Barawe in Lower Shabelle Region

Barawe — News sources from Barawe town in lower Shabelle region say that foreign commands with boats attacked on a house residing by AL-Shabab senior leaders in Barawe town , Shabelle reports

Reports added that Commands tried to enter inside the house with ladders, which finally resulted confrontation between foreign commands and AL-Shabab combatants.

As local residents confirmed to Radio Shabelle station in Mogadishu one of AL-Shabab fighters left dead while unknown numbers injured in the battle between AL-Shabab and unidentified foreign commands.

Locals added that foreign commands returned back to their former station and fired mortars to Barawe town in lower Shabelle region which the exact number of casualties remain are yet unclear.

Following the attack Somali's AL-Qaeda linked group of AL-Shabab pulled out their war vehicles with anti aircraft missiles as locals confirmed to Radio Shabelle station on via phone from Barwe town in lower Shabelle province.
