The sectors of urbanisation and construction are among the priorities for the implementation of the Strategic Plan on Environmental Technologies, which encourages from 2012 to 2017 the building of environmentally correct infrastructure in the country.
This was disclosed Friday by National director of Environmental Technology of the Ministry of Environment, Antonio Matias while speaking to Angop.
The official said that this "important tool" intends to consolidate in the country various environmental practices, especially those related to the treatment of solid waste and construction of buildings and environmentally correct houses.
He said that the Ministry of Environment is holding environmental technologies fair, as part of awareness campaign programme.
In this project the sector had the opportunity to work with companies that brought communications centred on collecting and processing of waste after construction.
In his view, these are issues that the Ministry of Environment has been taking into consideration.
António Matias explained that the plan comprises five strategic action, pointing out the urbanisation and construction, agriculture and forestry, industry, energy and water, oil and transport, as the priority areas for the implementation of environmental technology in Angola.
