Eritrea: Popular Campaign Regarding Environmental Hygiene Conducted in Godaif Sub-Zone

Asmara — A popular campaign as regards environmental hygiene has been conducted in Godaif and Kehawta areas, Asmara, in collaboration with members of ASBECO Construction Company.

Accordingly, more than 2,500 quintals of trash were moved to dumping sites.

Mr. Bereket Tesfagabir, head of social service in the sub-zonal Administration, indicated that the undertaking is a continuation of previous popular ventures, and lauded the work harmony witnessed in the process.

Among the local residents, Mr. Estifanos Tewoldebirhan, Mr. Abraha Kidane, Mr. Tesfazgi Tsegabirhan and Mr. Abraham Gebrekristos explained that an accomplishment of this type has significant impact in promoting community health, and called on fellow residents to step up prudent handling of junk materials.
