Bamako, Mali — The third battalion of the Malian armed forces appointed to follow the training provided by EUTM Mali has arrived in Koulikoro training camp since September 30th. After a first week of evaluation, the battalion will begin two weeks of common infantry training, before following the specialized training.

Commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel Sangaré, the battalion consists mainly of soldiers from the training center of the Malian armed forces in Markala, completed by elements coming from all Mali. It is organized around three infantry companies, reinforced with specialized units (armored combat, logistics, fire support, engineering).
