The latest upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Note product line, the Galaxy Note 3, was introduced onto the Ghanaian market over the weekend.
The Business Leader for Handheld Products at Samsung Ghana, Mr. Jaspreet Singh, told journalists in Accra that the Galaxy Note 3 represents the next evolution of the Galaxy Note experience, designed to empower consumers to actually experience, enjoy and fulfil their busy lives.
He said the Galaxy Note 3 meets the needs of consumers for a smarter larger screen, makes everyday life easier with the S pen, and is much slimmer, lighter, more powerful, and comes with a beautiful design.
"It also adds delight to daily tasks and infuses innovative features that help consumers tell the story of their lives," he added.
Mr. Singh said the device had a consumer-oriented service like the ADH premium, which gives cherished customers the opportunity to have their damaged Galaxy Note 3 replaced for free, and a smart value, which gives consumers a unique opportunity to bring their old smart phone, evaluate it and top up for a brand new Samsung smart phone.
"All these exciting new consumer-oriented services represent another innovative first from Samsung to the Ghanaian market," he said.
The Product Manager of Samsung Ghana, Mr. Tetteh Akornor, added that the Galaxy Note 3 had additional services to enable consumers design their lives.
He said the new device had a smart health application endorsed by the United Nations Global Fund for AIDS, TB and malaria, to educate consumers on those diseases, identify symptoms, as well as precautionary measures and medication.
"The Galaxy Note 3 is designed to entertain life, as it has many entertainment applications, and it is also designed to connect life through its communication and sharing offers such as ChatOn WeChat, WhatsApp and BBM," he said
