Farmers will no longer be exploited by middlemen who make away with all their profits leaving them with little or no income. Safaricom together with an agricultural software company have partnered to enable farmers access crop prices through their mobile phones by sending a text message with name and location to 20255.The M-PESA Foundation has given Mfarm a grant of 20milion shillings for them to scale up their agent network of 18 agents.
