Angola and Portugal will hold in February 2014 in Luanda the first bilateral summit under the motto: strengthening of cooperation - the growth and sustainable development between the two countries.
The fact was confirmed Friday in Luanda by the Portuguese State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Luís Campos Ferreira, while speaking to the press at the end an audience with the Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti.
The Portuguese official explained that the summit aims to address important issue related to the reality of the two peoples.
According to him, the two sides are working on several agreements in the areas of economy , social security, culture and others.
Luis Ferreira considered positive the visit to Angola meant to strongly contribute to the summit and strengthen cooperation in various sectors between Angola and Portugal.
The official visit to Angola by the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal ends on Friday.
