Tanzania: Teenage Mothers to Return to School

GOVERNMENT is working on modalities to enable girls who drop out of school as a result of pregnancies to resume classes after delivery.

This will mark a milestone in ensuring right to education for every girl child. Assistant Director in the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, responsible for Diversity, Dr Leticia Sayi saidon Friday that the plan is a result of findings that reveal that many of the girls who fall pregnant are lured by men.
