Namibia: Prison As a Place of Safety

NAMIBIAN prisons should be a place where all inmates are safe and sound without fearing for their lives as a result of outdated laws, such as the one criminalising acts of sodomy amongst the prison population and other Namibians.

Sodomy, which is defined as "anal or oral intercourse between human beings, or any sexual relation between a human being and animal" flourishes in Namibia.
