Five new stations of the Benguela Railway (CFB) were inaugurated Friday in central Benguela province by the Transport minister, Augusto Tomás.
The inaugurated stations are those of Mine, Kango in the municipalities of Catumbela and Hombe, Câbio and Calenguele (Caimbambo), on the 154- kilometer Lobito/Cubal route.
Speaking to Angop, the CFB inspector, Gabriel
Nguende, said the minister's delegation travelled by train from the port city of Lobito to the municipality of Cubal.
He added that the next step will be the resumption of the circulation of the train interrupted late in July this year for repair of the rails.
