The deputy president of Republic, Manuel Domingos Vicente, visited Friday, the industrial slaughterhouse and poultry farmer integrated complex, located in Lucala northern Kwanza Norte province.
During the visit, started Thursday in the region, Manuel Vicente, was briefed on the functioning of the integrated industrial complex, which as the production capacity of 200,000 chickens per week.
Speaking to the mass media, the national director of agriculture and cattle breeding, Adelino Rodriguez, said that the complex has a reproduction unit, incubator, food plant, 12 breeding units, thus six for Malanje and other six for Kwanza Norte.
The director said that the food plant has a capacity of 5,000 kilos per month, a station of water and solid waste treatment.
He also said that the slaughterhouse will start working in the first semester of 2014, therefore this Project will generate in the first phase 40 direct jobs.
The vice president's entourage is made up of minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Afonso Pedro Canga, Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges, among other officials.
