Beja — Preliminary investigations allowed to unveil the identity of individuals who had helped with the lodging and supply of the terrorist group responsible for the assassination of two National Guard officers in the village of Dour Ismaïl, Goubellat (governorate of Beja), security sources said.
The inquiry confirmed information concerning the name of the organisation to which members of this terrorist group are affiliated, the same sources indicated without giving further details.
Huge quantities of raw materials used in making explosives, notably ammonium, and a detonator were discovered in the house rent by the terrorist group.
A well-informed source told TAP correspondent in Beja that the search of the house made it possible to unearth documents explaining bomb making as well as weapons and munitions.
It added that the group "was planning other terrorist operations."
