Kenya: Makueni Clergy Call for Unity

Christian leaders in Makueni county have called for unity between the members of the assembly and the executive committee. The clergy, which met at the ACK Makueni diocese on Monday, said they had reached resolutions that need serious and quick response.

They said Makueni leaders should expedite on passing of crucial bills to cushion wananchi. The clergy asked the leaders to involve residents when discussing major bills before they are signed. Addressing journalists at the church hall, bishop Joseph Kanuku asked Governor Kivutha Kibwana to sign the budget and the Finance Bills.
