Kenya Lags Behind in Achieving MDG4

Kenya is still lagging behind in achieving MGD 4 which aims to reduce child mortality. A report by Save the children foundation shows that Kenya is among 78 countries lagging behind in reducing child deaths, especially when compared to other East African states. Country director Duncan Harvey says the government needs to renew efforts to reduce child mortality rates in the country.
