The Meru county conservation and forestry department intends to plant at least 1.5 million trees this coming rainy season, ounty conservator Evans Maneno has said.
Speaking to the media in his office, Maneno said the county government has prepared 430 hactares for tree planting and wants to have attained at least 750 hactares by the onset of the rains.
