Kenya: Nairobi Hosts Water Congress

Nairobi hosted the third International Water Association (IWA) Development Congress and Exhibition at the KICC last week. This event allows water professionals from around the world to meet as they look at the opportunities in the water industry. It also provides a unique opportunity to signpost best practices, applied research and enabling policies to meet the water and sanitation challenges of today and tomorrow in an increasingly urbanised world.

The Friday evening saw the gala dinner for the congress which was being hosted by the local affiliate of the IWA, the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) led by Chairman Peter Kuguru and managing director engineer Philip Gichuki.
