Kenya: PSC Promotes 200 Education Ministry Staff

25 October 2013

The Public Service Commission has promoted over 200 staff in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The civil service body approved the promotions of some 206 Quality Assurance and Standards Officers to take effect as from July 4 2013.

The promotion of an additional 30 officers was deferred pending submission of Performance Appraisal Forms. Principal Secretary for Education, Dr. Belio Kipsang said the Ministry greatly appreciates the work the officers have been doing; saying human capital is the most important resource in any organization. He said the Government recognized its employees by providing a platform for career growth and development.
